NSC APG has confidently delivered applied HVAC solutions for commercial projects for over a decade. This expertise led The Garden City School District to select APG for the replacement of 70 outdated rooftop units (RTUs) at Kenneth Henderson Middle School, following an assessment of the school’s comfort and energy needs.

The APG team supplied the RTUs and collaborated closely with engineers to enhance the school’s energy management, heating and cooling performance, and overall system efficiency. Despite the tight summer schedule before the school year, APG met all deadlines by project managing the supply portion of the project with their partner JCI (now Bosch HVAC).

After cross-evaluating several options, NSC APG’s project managers determined that TempMaster RTUs were the best fit. These units are recognized for their energy-efficient design and dependable performance, making them an ideal choice for the middle school’s HVAC upgrade.

By successfully replacing the RTUs, Kenneth Henderson Middle School saw improved comfort for students and staff, as well as long-term savings on energy bills.

“We want our mechanical contractors to have the confidence that they can purchase any commercial HVAC equipment from NSC without worrying that we are after the service contract of that equipment after the sale,” said NSC VP of Sales Mark Miller. “Our technical field staff is purely there for their benefit. Training, startup assistance, and jobsite support — that’s it.”

NSC APG grew with this basic concept and began adding lines such as Addison DOAS, TempMaster rooftop units, and Quantech chillers made by Johnson Controls to complement their focus on Samsung HVAC VRF and ductless equipment. Supplying premium HVAC equipment, coupled with turnkey building automation, has propelled NSC to become a True Partner to the mechanical contractor, and the MEP engineering community.
